On a wonderful, hot summer afternoon, I photographed a lovely family right in their own backyard in Westport, Connecticut.
There was nothing fancy about the setting, occasion or even the wardrobe except that the Grandma was so full of love for her newly extended family - her twin grandchildren, Cecily and Scarlett, that she set the color scheme with her lovely floral dress. She bought her twin grand girls matching eye-lit dresses to go with her own in a luscious peach tone. I loved the way the navy and peaches worked together in a colorful palette set against a vibrant nature-green background. With another grandchild along the way, this lady has much to celebrate!
Regardless of their outfits, the energy, excitement and love this family exuded during our session were all that was necessary for me to create vibrant, candid photos for them to look back on for years to come.
