Call me a sentimentalist! These two photos I happened to snap when no one was watching so yes, they are CANDID shots. They were taken at a bat mitzvah at Temple B'nai Chaim in Redding, CT last year. My favorite is the granddaughter adjusting her grandpa's yarmulke! The best part of my job is photographing a family event and witnessing the interaction of the generations. It's not often that families all come together to celebrate a joyous occasion. It's bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings, and perhaps the occasional birthday or anniversary. I just know to be ready for those fleeting, love-filled interactions and snap away!!
