I never thought I would blog because I don't think people are very interested in reading about the pretty leaves in my backyard! However, it seems to be the way of the world these days and at least a way for me to gain exposure for my photography business.
Hopefully, some readers will find it fun and possibly amusing to follow my photographic endeavours!
Here I go!
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Project Return Birdhouse Gala that took place at the Fairfield Theatre Company (FTC) in Fairfield CT. I learned about this wonderfully worthwhile, Westport nonprofit group, from a friend who then asked for my photographic services. While viewing artists' created birdhouses and listening to a wonderful Latin Band, I took many photos. The organization is a nonprofit group that provides housing right in Westport for teenage girls in crisis. I had the opportunity to see firsthand the unconditional love and support the women, who volunteer their services and work directly with the girls, provide to them. A few of the girls who were brave enough even stood up and spoke about their personal journeys. It was a wonderful experience, and I am thankful I was able to play a part in it.
