For the last several months, I have been the photographer for a new, community-based magazine called Fairfield Coastal Neighbors. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and photographing each and every one of the families featured in the articles. They all have done meaningful volunteer work in Fairfield and/or are simply upstanding residents. The first issue was The Gallias Family who's house burned down and thank god no one was injured. The second family, the Walter's family, husband and wife are both teachers who work in the Fairfield school system while raising two wonderful children. In the next issue, two amazingly strong females, Rebecca Scalera and Caryn Sullivan are both fighting Stage 4 cancer and started the Cancer Couch Foundation to help other women facing similar life-threatening challenges. The Fox Family has a unique story as well. George Fox, devoted dad and loving husband, started a watch business called NFW watches with the tagline, "Badass with a Big Heart." Through his company he has helped thousands of veterans each year. And my last family, The DiDomenico Family just simply define generosity. Each Thanksgiving, they deliver meals to those less fortunate. Their efforts have grown from delivering 10 meals to 100 meals in a few short years. Who knew about these wonderful families and their efforts? Probably not enough people until now. Enter stage left, Fairfield Coastal Neighbors magazine. I'm proud to help in this focused effort to get families and individual names publicized and consequently, thanked and honored by photographing and featuring them in this wonderful magazine. #Fairfieldfamilies, #CTfamilies, #FairfieldCoastalNeighbors
