I had the honor and pleasure of photographing Sydney a few weeks ago for a small, intimate ceremony and luncheon reception at her home in Stamford, Connecticut.
The service was performed via Zoom and live streaming into her home with the help of the very talented, Jimmy Dee Entertainment.
Unfortunately, the event was supposed to take place at Temple Beth El in Stamford with a reception following at Greenwich Hyatt. But, that was planned way before the Covid pandemic hit. I am saddened by all the postponing and cancellations that took place this year.
But I prefer to dwell on the positives of what DID take place this year.
The beauty of this particular celebration was that it was intimate and filled with family and close friends - the people who matter - the people who will be with you through thick and thin - and we certainly experienced a year of thin!
Everyone was relaxed and photos were captured of family who rarely get a chance to get photos together.
The other plus is that the Dad even got a professional head shot out of the gig! Any professional event photographer would tell you that normally would have been unheard of during a bar or bat mitzvah event!
Two for ones in 2020!!
BUT definitely Looking forward to 2021. xx
